JLMCHEMICALS, INC. RECEIVES 

PRESTIGIOUS SAFE HANDLING AWARD

TAMPA , FLORIDA -- JLM Chemicals, Inc., a subsidiary of JLM Industries, is a recipient of the 2005 Safe Handling Award given by the Canadian National Railway Company. Located in Blue Island , Illinois , JLM Chemicals is a manufacturer of phenol and acetone.

CN announced that 93 companies, 37 in Canada , 55 in the United States and one in Europe received the award. The Safe Handling Award is among the most coveted and respected in the industry.

Launched in 1992, the Safe Handling Awards are presented each year to CN customers that load 100 or more cars with dangerous goods annually and meet strict standards for safe handling and shipment of regulated products. The awards are presented to companies that meet established criteria, according to the total number of shipments of dangerous goods for all facilities.

CN presents the Safe Handling Awards to their customers for handling dangerous goods carefully and meeting the challenges of consistently maintaining or improving the safety of its operations while protecting the environment.
