JLM's expanding line of products include acidulants, caustics, surfactants, as well as preservatives, flow agents, sweeteners, and vitamins. For personal care we provide colorants, vitamins, humectants and oils. On the pharmaceutical side we offer actives and intermediates.

Industrial Solvents have been the traditional product line at JLM Industries since the company was founded. These products, marketed by our Performance Chemicals unit, include acetone, ethanol, isopropyl alcohol, methanol and propylene glycol.

These solvents are used in applications for a diverse range of applications and industries, from manufacturing paints and lighting fixtures to use in adhesives and bonding agents for plywood. As one of the largest acetone marketers in the United States, we handle more than 120 million pounds of acetone every year - much of it from the Mount Vernon Phenol Plant, a joint venture between JLM, GE and Citgo.

In addition to marketing solvents directly, JLM also wholesales quality solvents to other distributors and manufacturers.
